About Sure Bible Truth
A ministry rooted in Scripture, open to all who seek Truth
Our Purpose
Our Mission
Sure Bible Truth is a faith-based ministry dedicated to opening the Word of God to all who seek truth, understanding, and a deeper walk with Christ. We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God speaking with clarity and power to every generation.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
— Psalm 119:105
How We Began
Our Story
Sure Bible Truth was founded with a simple conviction: that the Bible, rightly understood, has the power to transform lives. In a world of competing voices and confusing messages, we wanted to create a place where anyone — from the newest seeker to the lifelong student of Scripture — could come and find honest, grounded, accessible Bible teaching.
We are not affiliated with any single denomination, though we hold to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the great creeds of the church. Our commitment is to Scripture first — to let the Bible speak for itself, in its own context, with its own voice.
Our Foundation
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. Both the Old and New Testaments are God-breathed and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons as The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each are fully God, each distinct in person, united in essence, will, and purpose.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for sin, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father to intercede for us as our Great High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary (Hebrews. He is the only way of salvation (John 14:6).
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is not earned by works but received as a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8–9). Genuine saving faith produces genuine transformation of life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering them for holy living, spiritual growth, and service. He illuminates Scripture, convicts of sin, and conforms believers to the image of Christ.
The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ and comprised of all who have been born again by the Spirit and united to Christ by faith. We value the local church as the primary context for Christian community, worship, and discipleship.
How We Study
Our Approach to Scripture
We are committed to reading the Bible in context — taking seriously the historical, cultural, and literary setting of each passage. We believe good Bible study requires humility: a willingness to let the text say what it says, even when it challenges our assumptions.
We welcome questions. We believe honest inquiry is not a threat to faith but an expression of it. The Bereans were commended for examining the Scriptures daily to see if what they heard was true (Acts 17:11). We aspire to that same spirit.
